Jessica Hogarth is a big inspiring designer for me, and not just because she hails from my neck of the woods, North Yorkshire, but I also love her sketchy illustrative way of designing. She has designed quite a few pieces based on illustrations of shops and building but as well as this she has some produced some pretty ace geometric designs too, which I don't know if you can tell but I'm pretty into geometric right now.

Favourite Designer of the Week - Helen Dardik
I like Helen Dardik's detailed prints. I aspire to have the patience to but this much detail into my designs.

Re-Vamp Living Room
I have kind of changed my decor taste in the last year or so, I used to love everything vintage and granny chic whereas now I like more of a rustic wood, white and lots of plants look with more mid century furniture. Here is the link to how my living room used to look.
My living room especially was pretty granny chic. I started by changing the sofa, although I loved my old sofa it actually wasn't massively comfortable to sit on, more of a waiting room settee. We changed it out for a more plain grey sofa, that has a little bit of a mid century shape and is super comfy. I also changed the rug for a more hessian one, painted the mantle place white, changed the chair for this awesome peacock chair I got at a car boot for £15. I also changed the tv stand for these great crates I got off a local green grocer for £5 each and changed the lamp shades for more wicker style ones. Oh, and more plants of course.
